About Me
“I studied English Language at the University of Reading. Whilst I enjoyed the subject, I was unsure which career to pursue. Luckily for me, I stumbled across a brilliant Charity- The Stroke Association, whilst volunteering. Here I worked with stroke survivors and discovered the amazing role of a Speech and Language Therapist. Following University, I worked at their headquarters and from there was accepted on the MSc Speech and Language Therapy course back at the University of Reading.”
“Outside of the Speech Therapy world, I have a fabulous husband, cheeky one year old boy and beautiful Golden Retriever. Like most people, friends and family are important to me. I also try and spend as much time as possible outside, whether that is walking, running, swimming or just sitting with a cuppa in the garden.”

BACKGROUND
The beginning of Select Therapy...
Select Therapy Ltd. was established in January 2021.
The aim was to provide a personalised, effective therapy pathway for children with Speech, Language and Communication difficulties.
A note from the founder:
"I wanted to ensure parents felt supported in their therapy journey, working with a professional who understood their child's individual strengths and difficulties and worked with the family as a whole.
The role of a Speech and Language Therapist is so much more than a job. You feel incredibly fortunate to be a part of someone's life and have the capability to share your tools and resources to support them achieve their very best. It is incredibly rewarding and also a lot of fun working with children and their families"
